wash and soak chanadal for 20-25minutes
after 25minutes put dal in to the pressure cooker along with 1cup of water and cook it to 3-4whistles
heat clarified butter /ghee in a pan add boiled dal in it and saute for few minutes
now add milk and cardamom powder to it mix well lower the flame and cook
as milk comes to half of its quantity add almonds And seffron to it and mix
when the mixture becomes thick add sugar as per your taste mix well cook for another 2-3minutes switch off the flame
protien packed kheer is ready serve hot or chilled
